We have a 24" iMac with a 1tb airport. It's been setup for about 2 months now w/o any issues.............

... then the power went out at the house last week. The computer and airport were both on. Now, the computer won't remember the network to join. You turn the computer on, and randomly it'll work fine (whenever I'm home) and randomly it'll not know anything about our network (which isn't broadcasting it's SSID so it's not on the list). Typically, when this happens I just open the network settings and fill in the name, security type (WPA personal) and password and it'd fine. My wife just called, I walked her through it, she's saying it won't now.

Regardless of why it won't work now (for my wife) -vs- me, WHY WON'T IT REMEMBER THE SETTINGS? I've fed it our SSID, security type and password probably 20 times this week, each time clicking the apply button and then the lock button. Each time it connects just fine. Sometimes when you turn it back on it's fine. Other times it's not (I've witnessed both, but my wife seems to NEVER see it work when she turns it on).

But what setting am I missing? Aren't apples supposed to "just work"? I know that's not true, but we've NEVER had this issue with wireless networking in the ~4 years we had it with PCs, now with a 2 month old apple it's ******** the bed on us like this? I'm disappointed to say the least.
