Hello everyone,
If my iMac has been on sleep overnight or not used for a few hours, when I turn it on, it clicks every 20-30 seconds for around 10 minutes. Very very faint and i can only hear it when it's silent. If I have anything on, even at the lowest volume setting, I can no longer hear it.
I know exactly what it is, it's just the aluminium warming up and expanding after not being used for a few hours. It's most noticeable at the chin of the device. I know it's not the HDD etc.
Just wondered if anyone else experiences it? Thanks
