iMac Color Distortion

Hey I've noticed whenever i log in to my iMac after it has been locked for a while that the colors on the iMac get distorted after i watch a video or something.Check out the picture, any ideas?

ps its not the screen its the software that this happens to, if i restart its fine

Wow, that's weird. Something really strange happening to your imac. Is it still under warranty? I would have probably returned it.

yea still under warranty 2011 27inch

Looks like a failing graphics card. I'd take it into Apple and get it looked at/fixed/replaced.

Mine does the same thing from time to time, I don't know what is causing it.
