Hi,
My refurbished 24 inch iMac computer (which I bought directly from Apple) in January 2011 has stopped working.
Earlier today I pressed on the power button to turn on the computer and the computer would not go on. I spoke to an Apple technical support specialist and followed his instructions, which was to unplug the power cable from the iMac and my surge protecter and then replug it back. Unfortunately, this did not work.
Apple is sending a technician to my home to see what is wrong with the iMac. I was told it could be the power supply/ and or perhaps my surge protecter does not have enough power for the iMac computer.
I am very fortunate to have a three year Apple warranty plan and hope the technician can repair the computer.
I would appreciate any feedback from the members who might have had similar experiences. Thanks!
