iMac crashing when downloading.

Ever since I upgraded to the new iOS my Mac has been crashing when downloading through uTorrent. It doesn't happen if I do it through my wife's account but does it all the time through mine.
It's really annoying and I can't figure out how to fix it. I have reinstalled uTorrent a couple of times with no luck.

Since when did a Mac gained the capability to run iOS?

My copy of BitTorrent used to crash regularly after I upgraded to Yosemite and it would crash while trying to download the update as well. I ended up going to their site and downloading a fresh copy, that seemed to fix it. Didn't crash the whole Mac though. Is that what's happening to you?
