iMac display gone funny?!

I came home yesterday to find that my cat had been sitting on my imac keyboard, and now my desktop is not the right colour. This only affects my user all the others are normal. All the icons are very black and look almost like cartoons...I really need some help with this please!!!

Ive tried that, I tried changing the display settings but it makes no difference?!

What a Time Machine backup, day old? If it's in System Preferences, this should fix it easily.

Hey if you don't know the answer you might as well make light of the situation.

I actually googled the issue and found inverted colours in the accessibility menu but tried it myself and it turned the system bar and buttons black too, on your SS the window buttons are normal colour so didn't think it was that.
