ive been trying to sort out a partition issue with my Mac and now the machine doesn’t even recognise there is an internal drive. I have tried using the recovery option but there is no disk showing up to reformat. Tried booting from an old carbon copy using Yosemite which does see the drive but I can’t do anything with it. When I press alt on boot tô go into the carbon copy on an external drive it does still display the Macintosh HD option. Tried the terminal via recovery and it would seem that there is a drive there as it lists physical volumes but I don’t know enough to see what the problem is. Tried internet recovery as well but that isn’t working either because it won’t connect which is another issue.
