Hi All,
My iMac is set to automatically power up if power is interupted.
It is connected to my network via WiFi.
The problem is that if we have a power outage the iMac comes up before the Airport Extreme base station has finished its power up cycle so the iMac cannot see the WiFi signal when it goes out looking for it and it doesn't try again.
So the iMac just sits there with no connection to the network, even though the Airport has finished powering up and gone live.
Is there a setting that will tell the iMac to keep looking for the WiFi signal?
I am running software that I need to have up at all times, hence the request.
Forgot to mention previously, I am running latest level OSX Mavericks on a 2014 21" iMac.
Thanks,
Dave.
