Not a new user but after several failed logins and password resets I gave up and created new account.
So this morning while my son was on imac it crashed to a blue screen with lines coming down, forced shutdown and on restart all I get is a grey screen.
I did get it to start once by pressing command alt s and p (no idea where I got that from) and typed in exit then was able to login but then it crashed to grey screen again.
Mine is a 2011 imac which I had the video card replaced earlier in the year when it last crashed.
Been on apple support and am taking it in tomorrow as was unable to get into safe mode or anything after doing pram resets.
Only just been into apple store on Thursday for a replacement keyboard so not best pleased .
Just hoped it wasn't a graphics card from the problem batch that was put in, that would really make my day.
