I searched the forum for threads that could answer my question but did not found them...

I want to purchase an 27 inch iMac and want to game on it using Bootcamp. To get better performance in gaming I want to downscale the resolution from the iMac (for example to 1080p). If I set my game resolution to 1080p and use the resolution from the iMac on 1080p, will I see any blur or pixelated images?

Not really, but make you have Anti-Aliasing on. If you play the game at the iMac's native resolution you won't need Anti-Aliasing. So it's really up to you in my experience the game look alright at 1080p on an iMac 27"

it is blurry and looks crappy. play native if possible. i know that depends on hardware, but all other just look bad.
