I have just splashed out on a new iMac 21.5" and am lost...having also bought an older g5 which i got rid of straight away, can anyone tell me how to prevent all my old emails from loading in the email folders....having used a pc for the past 20 years this is all new to me. I also need to know how to send emails as whenever i try and send one it tells me my server is offline or something like that, any help would be truly appreciated.
here is the full spec from the about this mac info:

Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

Cheers Rich

Server offline? It's more likely that you're offline or have not configured your POP etc in whatever Mail program you're using correctly - the fact that you can receive emails suggests that your server is not offline.
