iMac Error Message when Powering Down

When I shut down my Imac (2011- 2.7GHZ I5 - 1 TB HD) I receive the error message seen in the attached screenshots... A gray screen pops up first saying in summary, "An error occurred, please wait a few seconds or press any key to restart"... Keep in mind this is when I am shutting down.

Anyone know what any of this means??
