Hello,

I have a dual monitor setup with my 2014 iMac the 1.4ghz model.

My monitors are set to turn off but my system does not sleep. When I hit the keyboard to Turn the monitors back on, the secondary monitor stays black, doesn't turn back on.

I'm using a thunderbolt to vga adapter to the monitor. Did a pram and smc reset with no luck.

What's weird is I was using this monitor on a 27" 2013 iMac just a week ago and not a single issue, which leads me to believe is the iMac. I've also tried another vga adapter. I thought it might be splash top streamer causing problems, which I uninstalled, with no luck and reinstalled and still no luck.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Unfortunately that did not. I'm beginning to think this is a hardware issue, not software. Gonna try using an hdmi adapter with and hdmi monitor tomorrow.
