iMac flash back then back on instantly?

I was at a building today and I noticed every so often the iMacs there turned on and off(The display) in the corner of my eye and when I think about it the same thing is happening at home. It always seems to be in the corner of my eye lol. Is it just me or could this actually be some issue xD?

I think it's probably just you. I've never heard of an issue like that before.
