Imac freezing/spinning wheel issue

Anybody having issues with iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) getting the spinning wheel that never stop? Sometime not able to open documents. Got the software update 10.13.3, still some issues. So I am taking it in the Apple store soon. Many attempts on fixing it over the phone and still on going problem. So frustrated.
Wonder what Apple people will do when I take it in, after they did a diagnostic testing over the phone already.

Lots of users get that issue and for many reasons. You will probably get a few suggestions that you've already been through.

First I'd try a new test User Account to see if the issue exists.
