iMac G1 as an external monitor?

Hello all! So I recently found a working iMac G1 at a local thrift store that works and all! I was wondering if there was a way to use it as an external monitor. If not, I was thinking about using it as kind of a music hub for when I move out.

Only the tray loading G3 iMac's can be used as one. But they need to be heavily modified and you're still stuck at the really low maximum resolution of 1024x768 @ 75Hz.
