It had been a few months so I needed to break out my old gaming rig and put it through its paces to keep it running. A computer that doesn't run doesn't live. So I ran some quake benchmarks. Leaving them here just in case they help anyone else.

iMac 1998 Rev B
PPC G3@233MHz
192MB PC
ATI Rage Pro 6MB VRAM
Mac OS X 10.3.9
Benchmark was Quake, with some interesting results
Mac OS 9.2.2 640x480@65536 color software rendering 15fps
MacOS 9.2.2 640x480@65536 colors RAVE (voodoo) rendering 20fps
Mac OS 10.3.9 640x480@65536 colors software rendering 23.6fps
Mac OS 10.3.9 640x480@65536 colors OpenGL rendering <App would crash at launch)
I tried versions 1.0.9 and 1.1 of the fruitz of dojo cocoa port and the QuakeGL carbon port and couldn't get either running. If anyone has any thoughts on getting these off the ground let me know. The FoD ports run great on newer hardware. Thanks!
