I'm setting up a friend who just needs a basic machine with a little iMac 350Mhz. I'm going to put OSX on it - I've seen it running fine on these machines once there's enough ram.

As far as I can work out the standard ram for these things is PC100 SDRAM which is now studpidly expensive, I seem to remember PC133 and PC100 RAM were intercompatiable, a bit like underclocking, can I get away with a PC133 stick I've got lieing around instead?

Also - according to a few sites these things max out at 512Mb RAM, can anyone confirm that?
