I don't have an iMac G3,(or any iMac for that matter) but I was wondering if there was an 3.5" ATA 128GB SSD, and if so, would it work in Macs that have that 128GB HDD limit. I would think that a Snow 700Mhz iMac G3 with a SSD, 1GB ram, an 8 or 16x Superdrive, and a Airport Extreme 802.11n card with Bluetooth 2.1 would be very cool to have. Also, would it be feasible to put the nVidia Mac Mini components with a LED 15" display into an Snow iMac G3 case (or any other color).

I also would like to know, if anyone has an answer. I would think that a G3 wouldn't see a whole lot of benefit because it can only process information so fast.. but that's just my guess.

I don't see why it wouldn't. You know, you could probably get a 130 GB HDD (don't know if they exist) and it would work because the formatted capacity is less than the actual size.

FYI, the 128 GB limit only applies to ATA, aka IDE, HDDs. So you could either get a new ATA controller or get some SCSI HDDs to overcome this.
