I have recently been given an imac G3(Blue bubble shape)- no discs or anything else. It has a password in place which means I can't get in to do anything. What would i need to remove this and get back to 'new' condition. It is loaded with OS9.2

If it is just a user account, then you need an OS disk to reset the password.

EDIT: In other words, you need to buy one. Failing that, if there is nothing on that user account to your interest, set up a new account and delete the former.
