Hi,
So I found a museum-grade iMac G3 Lime, 266Mhz with serial number indicating manufacture date as the 52nd week of 1998 (i.e. before the actual product announcement).

Anyway, the only problem is that the front CD bezel has come off, assumedly due to the brittle ABS plastic tabs that connect it to the CD drive.
Does anyone know an easy repair for this? I'm considering super glue...

Glue is exactly what I did with my bondi. The bezel popped off when reassembling after a repaste. IIRC I used not a superglue but a multi-purpose glue that I left to cure over night. I think superglue would work fine although I would go for one that is more of a gel viscosity vs a thin liquid. Anyhow, I stuck it on there and its been rock solid for a few years now.

Now if I end up ever having to replace the drive, that could present a challenge getting it off but as of now, its been a cheap and effective fix.

Did you glue the bezel onto the drive, or try glue the plastic tabs of the bezel back on? It was the plastic tabs that snapped on me.

Same, I glued the entire bezel onto the front of the tray. Worked well.

The connectors just disintegrated completely - there was no hope of repairing them. You can see a small drip from the cured adhesive on the underside pic. Anyhow the repair is stout, works well and the price was right.
