Hi folks,

I have an imac g4 1.25 and want to increase the ram and maybe swap out the old cd/dvd drive which has died (I'm assuming it is just the drive at the moment). I need to confirm that I can put 2gb of ram in this machine and not the 1gb max that Apple says I can. Also does anyone know the exact ram I need? Any info on installation would be helpful. I have 768mb in there at the moment with 512mb in the user serviceable slot. How hard it is to get to the other slot??

As for the drive, I really don't know where to start looking for one. What do I need... can someone recommend one on ebay to me? (I'm in the UK so please point to UK ram and drives if you can help).

Sorry for the noob questions.....
