I just got an iMac G4 today, its the original 2002 model. It came with no airport card installed so I popped in one of my spares so I could connect to my home network. I have WPA2 encryption and my iMac will let me select this type of password, but not let me connect.
Here is what I did after I installed my airport card:
1. Turned on AirPort
2. Clicked the airport icon in the menu bar
3. Selected other (clicking the networks name doesn't give the option to select WPA2)
4. Selected my networks name
5. Chose WPA2 Personal
6. Entered my password
7. It said "The wireless network "blank" does not support the requested encryption method."

What am I doing wrong? I know the card will work on the network because I've done it before on an older G3 iBook, so its not the card.
Just to be clear its not the AirPort Extreme card, its the original one.

The original B Airport card can only connect to WEP and WPA networks. To connect to a WPA network, 10.3.9 or higher is needed.

Because it's an option for Airport Extreme cards and wasn't removed from the Airport card's menu.
