Hello guys,

I just purchased an iMac G4 17", which also is my first ppc mac ever. The thing is, I bought it in Brussels, and I want to bring it back home to Denmark.

My question is: Do you think it would be possible to bring it on the plane as hand baggage, or will they just take it, because it's either too big/heavy or because it's a stationary computer..?

Have any of you ever tried this? Any input?

Thanks.

Are there any weight/dimension limits regarding hand baggage from your airline provider?

Definitely no hand baggage in the means of carray-on luggage. It is too heavy and they'll ask you to take all electronic devices out of the baggage - you'd have to answer a lot of questions... But I would not transport it in regular baggage as well as they sometimes throw the suitcases around. Ask the airline for special baggage and if a computer would be safe with that
