Hi. I have an oppritunity to buy a "broken" 17" iMac G4 (1.25 ghz processor). From what I've heard, it freezes a lot (randomly). The owner said they took it to a computer repair shop that said "you need a new hard drive and logic board." I can replace the hard drive no problem and maybe that'll fix it. So, I'm wondering a couple of this:

1.) Is $150 dollars a good buy for a broken iMac g4?

2.) Is is possible that the logic board isn't bad and that the hard drive is messed up or it just needs one of those "pram" resets (or similar)?

3.) Any one know the availability of g4 logic boards? (ebay doesn't have any currently)

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
