So I just got a 700mhz 15" iMac g4. I love how it looks, not so much how it runs. I'm running tiger on there right now, and it barely runs word and iChat at the same time. I looked through all the different threads trying to find out different mods and stuff, but I couldn't find anything too easy. Are there any simple ways that I can get this mac performing? The Daystar upgrade costs way too much for me, and I might as well get a new iMac. If anyone knows what to do with a g4, please tell me.

You can put up to 1gig of PC133 SDRAM. Depends on how much RAM you already have in it will determine if you will get much of a performance boost that will help with running your word and iChat programs.
