Hi, my gf said she likes the imac G4. I want to help her build a mac/pc, so, this is the plan:

Budget: :)450$ - $700:mad:
I found a cheap imac g4 15" on ebay (100-120$)
I'll buy this: (mac mini; only the logic board; I'll put it inside the G4)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-APPLE-M...484?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27d913557c

Does this board include the i5 processor? What else do I need? Hdd? Power supply?
I know it's kind of hard, but I'm optimistic. Sorry for my english.

You will need ram, Hard drive, power supply, fan, airport card, speaker, heat sinks, possibly antennas and battery.

I'd say you'll be better off getting a used mac mini and then trying to retro fit that into the iMac. One thing you'll have to consider is the Mac Mini's oddly shaped logic board and port placement vs. the G4 iMac's round shape and port placement.

Its not impossible to do, but I think if you've never done anything like this before you may be in over your head.

Take a look at the Mac Mini tear down at iFixit to get an idea of what you're missing from the eBay sale.
