imac g4 screen turning colors?

i just bought a used imac g4 and was looking some of the online things on apples site and there were some people talking about the screen turning shades of pink, green etc . .

i was just wondering if anyone on here has expreienced the same thing. some have said that it could be a loose video cable. the pics of the one i bought apear fine but if it happens down the road is it a hard fix? ive replaced the hd in an ibook g3. thats the hardest thing ive done computer wise so far.

How long was the computer used for before you bought it? If signs aren't showing already, I wouldn't worry about it. If the problem does arise, and you can't fix it, Appe should for a small fee. It's only a cable that needs to be replaced after all.
