3409651753_7844477ca4.jpg

The screen is so movable! You can like turn it any direction.
G4s are great desktops with a great design "i like it more than the g5 and g6".
I Lurves it!!

Okay... and?

What's the point of this thread? Also, there isn't a iMac G6, or a G6 anything from apple.

Don

HAHA, i love random outbursts of mac love! I agree, the movable screen was a great feature

thanks for sharing - cool pic!

Is yours a 17" or 15" ?

I just got a 17" for $199 (no kb, mouse, or airport card) from a Mac Reseller - debating whether or not to keep it.

I have yet to turn it on and initialize it (they turned it on for me at the store and it was going through its OS initialization).

I did find, a bit back, a 15" almost new in box on eBay (now that's awesome...)

Your dock is much too large. Please reduce its size.

I read that wrong the first time. I had to take a second look at it. :D:rolleyes:

I think the iMac G4's look pretty cool. Other than their functionality their looks are pretty sweet.

Yes they are great designs. Its a shame they never got any faster than 1.25GHz.

I know. My dad had a 20" 1.25ghz at work and he absolutely loved it. He was really upset when they did the design change but he bought one anyway and loves using it.

I know I hated the design when I first saw it but I do agree that it is one of the most unique computer designs ever.

Anyone remember the commercials for it? :D

very nice!! i wanted one of those SO bad when i was a kid. if only they were more powerful

oh and goodluck finding a G6 iMac :p, we are still waiting on the G6 Power Macs! ;)

Yea they're pretty much unusable. Not sure how the 1.25ghz perform but my 800mhz is rough. I still use it on occasion but ever since I got my PB 12" I havn't messed with the iMac much.

The engineering of the screen is amazing, how it manages to stay at the same angle even when you bend the neck.

Classic design. Best iMac ever imo (however I'm afraid I've never owned one).

One day when I have some spare cash the 20" model is definitely first on my list.

I remember my parents had one of those for years a while back. I think they paid 1000 dollars or something for it. It reminds me of gum ball machine for some reason. It is cute though ^^

Apart from the fact that the speakers look flimsy and form-over-function'ish, it's a beautiful machine. if they re-released it with updated specs, I'd get one right away.
