I havent got my G5 on the net...I used the other guide instead.....it's my music recording mac......is crucial good memory?

Yeah crucial is great memory, used it for years with no issues.

I have exactly that model of iMac (Plus a newer one also). And I have Crucial ram in both. Works just great.
Btw, I too do music work on the macs.
