I have my old iMac G5 20' who died few years ago, but now I won't to bring him to life and use it in my garage for music and stuff...
I opened it and checked logic board, it bring up first led after powercord plugged in, second led after power is pressed, but never gets to third led, just fans spin loud after 60sec, no image on display.
I found that one component is fried on motherboard but cant read anything from it...
If somebody have G5 motherboard working or not just to read me component so I can look for it and replace it.
Here is place of component on working board but resolution is too low to read:
