I'm trying to replace my old power supply on my iMac G5 20" (non-ambient). I have all the screws and connectors taken out or loosened except for the center screw on the power supply. I turn and turn and turn and the screw doesn't loosen enough for me to pull the power supply out.

I'm using this for reference http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Repair/Installing-iMac-G5-20-Inch-Model-A1076-Power-Supply/877/2 and they said to "lift the center screw slightly away from the midplane." which I'm not sure what to do for that. Is the midplane the mother board?

Can any one give me any advice on this?

thanks!
