Ok so I had to restart my wireless modem along with my wired modem. I pulled the power plug on both and plugged them back in. The windows machine (the one I am on now) is running fine and picked up the connection because it is wired BUT the Mac is connecting Computer to Computer???? I dont know what this is but how do I get it detect my wireless connection??!!

Hmm... Can you select Other from the AirPort menu and put your base station's details in again? :)
Explain more please

Sorry, do you have an AirPort menu in the Menubar (top right hand side of the screen)? From memory you should be able to select Other form that menu and put in your wireless network details (the name of the network and the keyword if applicable. You can turn this menu on in System Preferences, under the Networking tab.

If it's not allowing you to do this then try turning the AirPort off and then on again from the same menu. :)
