iMac G5 appearance in Apple retail stores?

I've heard estimates of the iMac G5 appearing in the Apple run retail stores anywhere between September 14th and 30th. Does anyone know when a demo model will be on display at a retail store near them?

I think when we hear about peoples iMacs being shipped, I would have to say that the Apple stores will have them on display. So watch the boards, when someone states their iMac is shipping, go to the apple store.

I was at my local Apple Store today. No G5 iMac yet. The staff person wasn't sure when they would arrive. Hoped to see them by the end of the month.

Where i work the powers that be have told us we'll have demo models in by the end of the month.

the Houston Apple store told me yesterday he expects a couple to display this week and stock to sell next.

He could be full of it for all I know.
