imac g5 hitachi 1tb drive

im wondering is it possible to install a hitatchi 1tb drive in my imac g5

because i think read somewhere that the hitatchi 750gb drive wasnt 1,5gbs
compatable i dont know if this applies to the 1tb drive

anyone have any ideas

both the 750 and 1TB hitachi drives are sata 150 compatible (all sata 300 are), they may just need to be set to the sata I not sata II, not sure how the new ones are being factory set.
