hey guys so just today I got a new power supply to put in my old iMac G5. And when I put it back together and turned the baby on I got the chime and led 1 and 2 to turn on along with the fan next to the cd drive.. Not sure if the other fan turned on since you can see it.. But anyways all of this happens within like 5 seconds and then the red led light comes on and it shuts down.. Does anyone have any clue what's causing this ?
Before I reassembled it I did noticed that I might need to reapply new thermal paste.. Could that be the problem? Or maybe a pramm batttery? Never changed either
