iMac G5 memory questions

I have a 20" imac G5, 2.1 Ghz DD2 and was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers as to what memory i could put in it? Its really starting to struggle with 512 these days so i need to beef it up. I looked on the crucial website and for the 1gb module it had two different options at different speeds so wasn't sure which one i should get...

I also if possible want to get it from this site:

so i can walk and buy it tomorrow, can anyone recommend a compatible module on this page that would be decent?

Pam, that's the wrong type of RAM -- the G5 machines are totally different from the Intel machines

Your machine is a 2.1 GHz iSight model of iMac G5 -- it uses a DDR2-533 DIMM (not the PC3200 like older iMac G5s). THere is only one socket in the machine, and it takes either a 1 Gb or a 2 Gb DIMM module. This is in addition to the 512 built in memory, so you total will be 1.5 or 2.5 Gb

The memory can NOT have a heat spreader on it, so the attractive blue Kingston HyperX's are a no go. The Kingston ValueRAM KVR533 products might work, however they are not guaranteed compatible by Kingston and historically there have been issues between ValueRAM and Macs.

The Kingston compatible part number you want to look for is KTA-IMAC533/1G or KTA-IMAC533/2G

If the seller won't give you a compatibility guarantee for your iMac, then at least make sure you have a no-cost right of return, if it doesn't work.

Would this memory be ok? I checked the specs on the crucial website for the mac ram that they sell and this ram has exactly the same specs just a different part number:

You need DDR2 533MHz PC4200. I've got a 1GB stick from Samung which I've used for a few months before upgrading to 1 x 2GB for my iMac G5 w/ iSight. PM me if you're interested in buying it from me for US $50. You need to pay for shipping.
