iMac G5 not recognising external hard disks!

I have a Firelite 80 GB, a Firelite 100 GB, and a LaCie d2 500 GB, and they mysteriously are no longer recognised by the computer at all. I've tried one at a time, three at a time, different cables, different ports....the Firelites will light up but they won't mount.

What's wrong?
