So I disassembled my G5 today since the screen wasn't aligned properly at all (the mounting bracket was bent, dunno how the previous owner managed that). In any case, just as a warning to those that don't know, the plastic in the G5 is terribly brittle. Managed to break off the four middle-board screw mounts at the top despite my careful and meticulous removal. Nothing critical and nothing some super glue wasn't able to fix.
On the plus side my computer is dust free and my screen is now not crooked.
