I'm having a problem since 2 weeks and I wonder if anyone has the same expierience and/or can help me.
I bought a new iMac G5 in april, installed Tiger about a month later. Since two weeks, my computer has serious problems. When I switch it on, it starts up normally about 4 out of 5 times, but every other day or so it doesn't start up, freezing either right in the beginning at the gray screen with the apple logo and the gray trurning wheel, or at a later stage of the startup progress. When this happens, I have to either reset PRAM and NVRAM to make it work again, or I have to boot from the install DVD and to repair the access rights of the hard disc. After doing so, the computer works normally for 2 days or so, until the same sh*t begins anew.
I would appriciate any help or comment on this problem, thanks!
