does the older non-iSight iMac G5 have a built in PSU? (no external brick?)

what does the connector on the back of the iMac look like? (or the plug)

thinking about an older iMac G5 (vesa mountable) for a project Im working on

thanks!

I do not think it has a external power brick and im not so sure as to the connector, sorry.

By the way i dont have one in front of me

All iMac's in the G5/Intel monopod form factor have a bulit-in power supply that uses a standard 3-pronged computer power cable.

almost perfect for what I want to do..

long story cut short, doing a kitchen-mac project.. was going to put a generic 17" tft on the wall (vesa mount), and a mac mini under it, etc.

but, kinda thinking it will be a bit messy with the cables running around the place.... however there's a power point directly below where I want to mount this screen.... so it got me thinking, why not just get an older 17" iMac G5, maybe a 2Ghz model, and mount it up there, clean as a whistle, and do bluetooth keyboard and mouse on the kitchen bench....

I can visualise it now!
