I don't have an Airport card in my machine. Can I use a USB wireless adapter to hook up to the internet? I have a wireless network in my home.
Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes, you can, that's exactly what I did for my G5 iMac 2+ years ago. I bought a USB wireless adapter on Amazon for $15 or less and it worked wonderfully until I got a new iMac late last year.

I think I read a recommendation for a cheap adapter here on MacRumors, I got a "Panda" which was white and matched the iMac. No problems.

Wifi

Thanks for the tip CrickettGrrrl. I will check in to the Panda adapter and go from there. One more question tho. Is there a difference between a PC or Mac adapter, or does it matter? Thanks again for the help.

Just make sure whatever adapter you buy has a driver compatible with both PPC and the operating system you are using.
