I run SqueezeServer on my iMac and access it via SqueezeCommander on my Samsung Ace 2. I am aware of the issue with SC whereby it does not send the correct codes to the iMac to Wake-on-Lan and solve that by using a small utility on the Ace 2 ahead of running SC. The iMac wakes up just fine, and SC starts to play music. For a couple of minutes and then it loses connection as the iMac goes back to sleep again.
I thought that once the iMac had woken up then if an external process is requesting data (like SC) then it should stay awake to fulfil that demand. I have Energy Saving set to Never. This has only started up since migrating to Mavericks.
Any suggestions?
The same problem happens with Orange Squeeze on the Ace 2.
