I have 2011 mid iMac and i didn't see the update in software updates.
When i try to install manually, got message: "This software is not supported on your system."
I have Lion developer preview 4. I can't install this update with Lion, or need to wait Lion supported firmware?
Anyone successfully installed this update with Lion preview?

You can trust Software Update, there is no need to bypass it and force install software. If your machine does not require the update that's the end of it. Installing updates that are not intended for your system can create other problems, take the safe road and simply trust Software Update.

It's likely that the firmware update is/will be built into Lion. That's why it's not being offered to you running Lion.
