I purchased one of the new 24" 2.66 GHz iMacs about 2 weeks after they were released in March. One of the applications I've been trying to use now is Toast 10. Basically, I'm trying to burn off some of the TV shows that have been on my TiVo to DVD. When I was making these DVDs/Images at first, I saw there were a lot of frames dropped. At first I thought this was maybe due to poor quality in the source footage. I then tried making and compiling the same footage on my older Macbook and they are coming out just fine. They are playing fine in my set-top Blu-Ray player as well. Bottom line, these DVDs that I'm making from Toast will essentially not play back right in my new iMac. Has anyone else had any problems with DVD Player on their new iMac or really any of the new NVIDIA-based machines. Just hoping to get some answers. Thanks.
