so I own a 2010 27" iMac and a few months ago I replaced my dying drive with another seagate close to the one in it. Now this drive is starting to give me problems and since Apple has extended the HD replacement would I be able to take my machine in for the replacement? I checked my serial and it's eligible the only thing the OEM drive is not in there.

Thanks

Why not call Apple & ask?

So I took the iMac in the mall today to the Apple store for my appointment. So it seems theres a high demand for this replacement and hard drives are coming in daily so I was put on a list in which Apple would call me when they are ready to take my machine in for repair. I thought that sucked, now I have wait another week or so to be called than another few days for the repair... I just figured apple would have all this in stock and ready by now (Been a month since they extended it) Has this happen to anyone?

I guess I just have to wait, nothing comes free! :D
