I'm at a stage now where 160gb is nothing and will probably get a 500gb drive in a few days. I've more or less dropped the idea of using Fat32 on anything more than 32gb so I'll have to use the less compatible NTFS.

But. How do I actually install a new HDD into my iMac? It's the last of the 17" models if that helps. Is there a nice little guide?

I already have 2 externals. Running out of ports, and it's just more convenient to have the drive built in rather than flipping a USB2 drive on/off when it's needed. If only XP could power down USB2 drives when not in use

Maybe I'm blind but I can't find a guide to installing an iMac HDD on that site. Laptops only?
