So I had my iMac brought in the Apple store this past Monday and they would be moving the parts inside to a new shell because a different Apple Store dented the hinge and corner. >.< Hopefully they get it fixed by tomorrow. You guys think that the genius back techs would mess up transferring everything to the new housing? Give me thoughts and opinions please.

Thanks

It depends on the tech. I know, as a tech myself, that i'd be double and triple checking cable routing and electrical connections inside the enclosure before closing it up. Hopefully they'd do the same.

If you're concerned, i'd give it a run after it's been repaired, test the camera, wireless, drives... any other device you can think of and see what you think. If it all works as it should, you're good to go.

Everything works as I tested it. Looks nice from overall perspective. Fast and responsive like always. When I got it back, there was a dent on the new stand. I was like wtf lol. But I have to come back later on and get that replaced. 20 miles go/back. XD

Today

I did one of these today, was a little worried to start with, but did take to long, all because the damn power button is built into the rear housing.....
