I thought I waited long enough for the bugs to be worked out on the new 27" Imac. Boy was I wrong. I purchased one on apple.com and got a so called deal with a refurb. The first one I got out of the box the cpu fans never cut off. I called and was issued another today. I asked the applecare guy if they check all the refurbs out. Of course they go thru with a fine tooth comb etc.
So today I got the other model and the harddrive is making the ticking sound which is getting on my nerves. It is the seagate that people are complaining about. I work on pc alot and it is a warning sign of it going bad. So I do not want to load this one up with my backup until I get it right. I am thinking of calling applecar again and get a full refund or exchange once again. I know it may sound petty with the clicking sound but when you lay $2000 dollars down you want the best. It is getting to where I am looking at the hackintosh side now.
Anyone have any suggest or anyone send theirs back for another.....Thanks In Advance
