I have an Intel Core 2 iMac 17" with OS X 10.5.1 inside. After I installed my system using a clean install, I noticed that every day, my iMac is starting up at 2:00 AM all by itself! In the preferences, in the energy saver, I haven't set it to start up at any time at all. Any ideas? it's starting to get really annoying.

You can reset the PRAM as this holds such instructions. To do this

Resetting PRAM and NVRAM said:
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Hopefully that will stop it happening.
